The Mercy of God in His Sovereignty

The Mercy of God in His Sovereignty
==========================

Day and night Satan pour out his accusation against God's people. (Revelation 12:10)

David was an adulterer and a murderer! (2 Samuel 11)

Paul was a blasphemer! (1 Timothy 1:13)

Jacob was a liar and cheater! (Genesis 27)

Peter denied Christ three times! (Mark 14:66-72)

What have they done to deserve your pardon?

Everything that Satan accused about us was right.

For His eyes are too pure to look on evil. (Habakkuk 1:13)

If God is not sovereign. He would have sent us all to hell.

But because of His sovereignty, He will have mercy on whom He has mercy.(Exodus 33:19)

When Satan sin, God did not pardon him but banish him to hell.

When we sin, God sent His one and only begotten son as a propitiation for our sin. (1 John 2:2)

Ezekiel 28:12-15 describes Satan as an exceedingly beautiful angel.

Satan was likely the highest of all angels, the most beautiful of all of God's creations.

Who are we to compare to Angel?

What is man that God should take notice of ? (Psalm 144:3)

Oh how Satan hates the sovereignty of God.

Oh how the sovereignty of God have left Satan dumbfounded.

Even to this time he could not comprehend it.

We who are sinner ourselves, do we think we deserve better?

Are we any better than Satan?

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)

No one is good—except God alone (Mark 10:18)

Romans 3:10-12
New King James Version (NKJV)
“There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.”[a]

Oh Lord Satan was right about us. We are pitiful miserable sinner worthy of death.

Psalm 115:1
Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy,
Because of Your truth.

Oh how Satan hates the sovereignty of God, even wanting that sovereignty Himself ;That God should listen to Him.

Satan was likely the highest of all angels, the most beautiful of all of God's creations, but he was not content in his position. Instead, Satan desired to be God, to essentially “kick God off His throne” and take over the rule of the universe.

Are you like the devil? Do you hate the sovereignty of God? Thinking God is unfair to exercise His sovereignty?

If so you need to pray until you submit to the Will of the Lord. The Lord shall have the last say. He shall exercise His sovereignty.

No one should usurp His throne. Not Satan. Not you.

If God is not sovereign, Satan is right. We are unworthy. We deserve to die. But because God is sovereign, He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy. (Exodus 33:19)

For His name sake He will do it; He will exercise His sovereignty; He will save His people. (Ezekiel 20:9;Psalm 106:8)
