If God is God.

If God is God.

You may not like God being God but you cannot stop God being God.

For His name sake He will destroy those who hates Him; Him being God; God for being who He is.

If you love God you will submit to His sovereignty even if it meant death to you.

If God is God, then you must let Him be God. you shall not take His name in vain.

If God is God then He will do whatever He pleases.

For the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

Your willingness to submit to His sovereignty reveals where your heart belongs.

Genesis 22:12 NKJV
And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”

Exodus 33:19 NKJV
Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”

Pulpit commentary:
And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious - i.e., I am not bound to do all this for thee. It is of my free grace that I do it. I intend, however, to be gracious, and show mercy to thee, because thou hast found favour in my eyes.

Deuteronomy 5:6-11 NKJV
‘I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. ‘You shall have no other gods before Me. ‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them.

For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

‘You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

Psalms 115:3 NKJV
But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.

Romans 9:16 NKJV
So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.
