Our God is in heaven He does whatever pleases him. (Psalm 115:3)

He has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden. (Romans 9:18)

To Love God is to Know Him.

A man after God's own heart will do anything God wants him to do. (Acts 13:22)

And the things He do pleases the Lord because the person who loves God is the one whom God recognizes. (1 Corinthians 8:3)

God recognizes us because He has chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. (Ephesians 1:3-6)

There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. (Romans 3:11)

We love Him because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

With unfailing love He have drawn you to Himself. (Jeremiah 31:3)

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  (1 John 4:10)

For this reason what you do pleases Him because God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. (Philippians 2:13)

The sinful nature is always hostile to God. (Romans 8:7-9)

It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will.

That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.

But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you.

For "Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?”  (1 Corinthians 2:16)

But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.

You have the mind of Christ and know him, because the holy spirit dwells in you enabling you to do so. (John 14:17)

God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. (1 Corinthians 2:9-10)
