The reason why we always chose to numb our pain

The reason why we always chose to numb our pain instead of going to the doctor is because we do not think we are sick in the first place and that we are in no need of doctors.

Unless you admit that you are sick and in need of Him you will always fail in your endeavour to overcome sin.

Jesus said apart from Him you can do nothing.

Only the sick need the doctor!

John 15:5
