Yes I know you don’t like this black spot on the vase. If you know you’re going to break the vase by smashing it. Why do you still do it in the first place? Unless you aren’t going to keep the vase. You could have painted it over rather than smashing it. A mended vase will never look as it was before. And the sad part is that it will look even worse than before. “Therefore watch your words and hold your tongue; you'll save yourself a lot of grief”. Proverbs 21:23 (The Message) or the Lord will rescues the poor from the cutting words of the strong, and rescues them from the clutches of the powerful.
