Why do we sometime even feel a sense of hopelessness. That life is not suppose to be the way it is. Is there really all there is in life? What is this unexplainable void that is within me? Like a bird in a cage we wonder why we’re not able to fly despite of the freedom given to us...
What you’re feeling is not something strange. Life is not suppose to be this way. God’s initial plan is a plan to prosper us and not to harm us. A plan for us to enjoy a carefree life and great relationship with Him forever in the garden of Eden. But we’re not content with what we’re given and wanted more after acquiring the knowledge of good and evil. Therefore we had to work in order to appease our insatiable appetite. We're what we are today because man refuses to obey God.
By right if we are living according to God’s will for us, we should be feeling a sense of tranquility and joy. We’re able to feel this void in us simply because God has place eternality in the heart of man so that perhaps man will seek and find Him.
